About the Author:

Dr Parveen Kumar is a Professor  of  Clinical  Medical  Education  from  Barts  and  The London, Queen Mary's School of  Medicine  and Dentistry, University  of  London and Honorary Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist,  Barts and The London NSH Trust, London, UK.

She is the co-author of the best-selling Kumar and Clark's Clinical Medicine which has been praised for its depth of content and its clarity of style.  Its contents on ethics and  communication and the needs of the elderly show the importance of the underpinning  sciences in the understanding of clinical medicine and explains clearly the epidemiology, examination, differential diagnosis, investigation and management of disease.
